“ This is a welcome addition to Waynesboro. Locally owned. Have never eaten Cuban food before eating here. Friendly owner. ”
“ Great little whole in the wall place to get Cuban food in Waynesboro. Order from the counter, pick up when ready. Most people ended up taking food home. Really enjoyed all that we got. ”
“ This food is quite yummy. I thought I would eat half and take the other half home for my husband to try. He will get half the sandwich but I just couldn't stop eating the papa rellena. The Cuban sandwich is dripping with succulent pork, ham and cheese and it is perfectly toasted. The green condiment sauce rounds out all the flavors of both the potato dish and the sandwich. The mojito had fresh mint and lime, not too sweet and a refreshing splash on my tongue. Very clean for eating in and fast service. I'll be back for the chicken next! ”
“ Really good food great little place great service will be back. Got ropa veja going try picadilla next time ”
“ Finally made it to this restaurant. I ordered the pork ribs dinner which included two sides and a fountain drink for 13 dollars. An enormous serving of pork ribs and got the yucca mojo and plantains for my sides. I ended up taking half home. Ribs, plantains and yucca were all delicious. Green sauce served with the ribs was spicy and also delicious. My husband got the Cuban sandwich. I suggested he put the sauce on his sandwich and he said that made it! Service is at the counter to order and to pick up. The young lady who took our order was very patient, especially with my husband who was having a hard time making a decision. My husband got a beer. Mixed drinks also available. They also have a nice patio outside. The restaurant is clean and comfortable. Can't wait to go back again and try some of their other foods and yummy looking desserts. ”
“ Yuca Frita are fried to perfection and yuca con mojo has that great garlic and oil sauce. Top it with the cafe Cortadito to get yo going with it caffeine and cinnamon sweetness!! If sodas are your thing, the canned Materva Yerba Mate soda will make you think twice about your next MD soda. Tables and booths are clean. Order at the counter. Stars are for everything except the shrimp. Fried ”
“ The food and the staff are amazing! I love the ropa vieja, beef tostones rellenos, and charcoal roasted pork ribs. ”
“ So excited to see a new Cuban spot open up nearby!! It's closer to fast food than an actual sit-down restaurant but that doesn't mean the food wasn't amazing! Loved my chicken sandwich. It was huge and ended up being my lunch and dinner. They also have a good selection of sides to choose from, including beans, plantains, and yuca. This is a much-welcome addition to Waynesboro dining! ”
“ First timers to this four week old restaurant. Order, pay and receive a buzzer at the counter. Self pickup on cafeteria tray when buzzer signals. Plates, bowls, cups and utensils are all disposable. Food was served hot - in all the best ways! With a lot of flavor and a little heat. Ordered Cubano sandwich, Ropa Vieja, Tostones, Yucca Fries and Congri rice. The little sauces that came with the order were wonderful, with a creamy heat - wonderfully balanced and delightfully addictive. The shredded beef tasted like it cooked all day, so wonderfully tender and flavorful. My favorite was the yucca fries. Both large and long, with a crispy outside and tender inside. The Cubano sandwich was light on meat and pickles and heavy on mustard. The meat didn't stretch to the ends of the bread. Tostones were a bit overcooked, super crispy without any tenderness. Congri rice was simple black beans and short grained rice. All the food had lots of flavor and heat. Hot sauces and ketchup are on the table. Bus your own disposables, fast-food style, leaving the cafeteria tray at the receptacle station. The television played salsa tunes until it finished the queue and then went silent with the song list on display. We plan on returning to try the half chicken. Definitely recommend. ”
